Drone Industry Survey: Two-Thirds are Concerned About Data Security
Data security for uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) remains a primary concern by public safety and critical infrastructure professionals, according to an August 2023 survey of 733 drone professionals performed by Teledyne FLIR.
The survey results also highlight the key challenges faced by commercial, industrial, and governmental UAS operators trying to balance UAS capabilities, budget, and data security.

Infrared Thermography Training Resources
Transport Canada regulations coming into effect June 1, 2019 require passing a test that is outside the Infrared Training Center scope of expertise. Transport Canada recommends taking drone operation training from a ground school from a list available on the Transport Canada website. ITC Canada provides aerial thermography application training as part of our Level 1 and Level 1 Building courses, required for compliance to Canada’s National Master Specification.
